(More customer reviews)I originally got this to steam my headboard so bedbugs would be driven out, but since my apartment was heat treated, I haven't needed it for that. Still it's a neat inexpensive little gadget, and I find it works quite well for steam cleaning the arms of chairs, the base of my cat's scratching post, which had stains from her coughing up hairballs. It also drove some dirt from around the base of my kitchen faucets. It's small, so only steams for about 15 minutes, but it works very well. Oh, yes, I also steamed the wrinkles out of some winter clothes I just unpacked. Haven't tried the window cleaning attachment yet, but will soon. My only caveat is that the top requires quite a lot of strength to remove. It's like the pill bottles where you have to push down and turn at the same time, and you have to push HARD.

(More customer reviews)This is the machine to buy at a great price. Free shipping was the buying factor that pushed me to buy it. I hate getting into toilets and this made it easy for cleaning. Cleans up the floor around the toilet extra clean as well. I sprayed the toilet seat over and under and around and cleaned it better then new. The rim inside and outside is so easy with the spray nozzle and it does it so fast with hot steam that you can smell and see the clean after just a few seconds. I will never do without one of these again. This is my first and I was just being cheap by not buying one sooner. I don't know about the rest of the name brands but this one stands up very well so far. Hope this helps out cause I am now becoming a steam nut for cleaning. When you need something clean, steam is the only way to clean quickly and without chemicals.
